Dear Hilltop Reserve Community,
This letter is to inform you that one of our AL residents tested positive for COVID-19. The resident is not manifesting any symptoms. As a result of this positive test, we will begin testing all Assisted Living and Monarch Residents and team members today to determine if there are any others who are positive with the COVID-19 virus. This testing schedule is in compliance with the CDPHE guidelines and mandates.
There is another variant of COIVD which is the BA.5 which is highly transmissible and resulting in higher infection rate and hospitalizations. For this reason, we encourage all our residents, families, and associates to limit any possible exposure by limiting contact with large crowds and to stay masked when in public. Please notify an associate if you are not feeling well so that we can continue to limit transmission within our community. We ask visitors to let us know promptly if you test positive at any point. Please do not visit if you are not feeling well or have had an exposure yourself.
Please be reminded that although being vaccinated and receiving a booster does not prevent a person from contracting COVID-19, it greatly reduces the chance of severe illness with hospitalization. There are many locations where you can receive an initial vaccine, a 3rd booster shot, or a 4th booster shot for those over 50 yrs. of age free of charge. Most retail pharmacies provide them. We are in the process of scheduling a booster clinic at the Village and will keep you informed. Those over the age of 50 who now qualify for a fourth booster will be able to receive it at our booster clinic as well as all others who have not been vaccinated or received their initial booster. If you need any assistance in scheduling your shot and/or transportation to get there, please let us know.
If you have any further questions, please reach out. (303)792-8200.
