Dear Carillon at Belleview Station Community,
The high number of cases of COVID-19 in the Denver metro area is unfortunately reflected in the positive cases we are continuing to see in our community. We have another COVID positive associate identified late on 9/27/21. This associate is a caregiver in Monarch who has been vaccinated and is symptomatic. They are resting comfortably at home.
Residents in Monarch are considered exposed and on isolation until October 13th. This means that we will encourage them, as much as possible, to stay in their apartments, to wear a mask, physical distance at meals. However, we understand many of our residents may refuse. We will be rapid testing all residents in Monarch daily and PCR testing at least weekly, twice weekly if we continue to have positive results.
Unfortunately, this means that residents that live in the Monarch neighborhood will be unable to have visitors while they are in isolation until October 13th. This is mandated by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. If you believe that your loved one who resides in Monarch is especially in need of a visit, please request one from Nikki Gabayan who will confer with our nursing staff to see if the situation qualifies as a compassionate visit determined by the state.
Thank you so much for your cooperation with these requirements. We realize this is very difficult for families and residents but are confident it will be instrumental in limiting transmission of this virus that continues to take lives.
All infection control measures will not change in assisted and independent living at this time. This means that dining and activities will continue to take place for vaccinated residents. Indoor visitation will continue as it has been. PCR testing will continue for all residents and staff on a weekly basis at least. It will increase to twice weekly if we continue to have any positive test results.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Carillon at Belleview Station’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Girling, at (720) 440-8200.
